Absolutely dilapidated 37 812 Cord, barn find in August 2003. This
4 door Westchester sedan left the factory as a RHD model and was ordered
new by a Baron here in England.
In the early 50's it was made rear wheel drive with
an Austin Devon rear axle and a Ford flathead. It was being prepared
as a stock car by the world champion stock car driver of the time.
The project was never finished, he went to Australia and never returned.
The car languished in a field in Yorkshire for many
years, changing hands periodically. It hasn't been on the road since
1949 and is the very rustiest car Andy has ever seen. It now lies
in good hands.

even before it is half way through Tetanous is already a feature car....
Intersection Spring 2004
The cord is now a running and driving shell thanx to Paul Burnham and co. It still has hundreds of hours left to finish her, but Andy is hoping that it will be launched some time in 2008.
For the first time in two years the front nose cone has been re fitted and re modified again to accept the fact that the car now has series 3 jag discs and calipers on instead of the mk2 ones the wings were made to fit. This caused so much work as the wings had to be banded by two inches to allow clearance.
The body shell although not finished now has the appearance of an assembled car.
